  I needed treatment for a TMJ issue and went to TMJ & Headache Center in Westlake,boy was that a big mistake.After a $700 night splint did not work,I was told I needed a $1400 day one.I actually got worse and the doctor did not even care,he kept telling me to take muscle relaxers.All the work is done by 2 clueless assistants who do not seem to know what they are doing.My treatment actually made me worse.One of the assistants tried to lie to me and tell me I needed a different night splint that would cost me another $700! I tried to contact the doctor and ask him this,after weeks I finally got a response,he told me his assistant never said that and that he does not want to treat me any more and to never contact him again.Some doctor right? Oh,the splints need to be adjusted frequently.After a few free adjustments,they start charging you $50-$100 per visit.The doctor won't be doing the adjusting of course,his assistants will.My advice,stay far away and go to an actual oral surgeon.

  Poor service and attitude from doctor and staff. As soon as you walk in,they are pushing dental splints on you. The doctor and staff come off like used car salesmen. I should have did a web search on this place,most reviews are negative,that says a lot. I was told this place gets referrals from other dentists,probably some kind of kickback scheme happening. I don't see how a real professional would recommend these guys.
